When dialing in our MXR mech frames, the one thing all of us kept saying was that the trigger was too light and there wasn't that "snap." So we set out to fix that.
We came up with a replacement for the stock trigger return magnet in two different weights. The circular one is a medium weight (when compared to stock) and the square one is a heavy weight when compared to stock.
These heavier magnets give your MXR mech trigger...and MXR electronic trigger....a bit more weight and a snappier release.
Medium weight ~ 2.6 pounds of force
Heavy weight ~ 3.6 pounds of force.
These heavier magnets do not make the trigger heavy, but allow you to fine tune the weight of the pull to your liking by adjusting the length of the set screw for the trigger return magnet tension. Screw in for a heavier pull, screw out for a lighter pull.
